Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information REIA (“we”, “us”) collects when you use the REIA web application at reia.briksai.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We designed REIA to keep the data we hold about you to the minimum needed to run the product.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information: name, email address, hashed password (or OAuth identifier), and subscription plan.
  • Property analysis inputs you submit: Zillow / Redfin URLs, addresses, and any assumptions you edit. These are tied to your account.
  • Billing information: handled by Stripe. We never receive or store full card numbers.
  • Usage data: page views, feature interactions, and anonymized performance metrics. We use these to improve the product and to debug.
  • Cookies and similar technologies:session cookies for authentication and a limited set of first-party analytics cookies (see “Cookies” below).

2. How we use your information

  • To provide property analyses and store the analyses you save.
  • To process subscription payments and send transactional email (receipts, trial reminders, account notices).
  • To prevent abuse, debug errors, and maintain security.
  • With your consent, to send product updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

3. Sub-processors and third parties

We share data with these vendors strictly to operate REIA:

  • Supabase — hosted Postgres, auth, and storage.
  • Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
  • PostHog — product analytics and feature flags.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery.
  • Sentry — error monitoring (PII is scrubbed before events leave our server).
  • Anthropic — AI summaries of your analyses; we send the analysis inputs and outputs but not your account credentials.
  • RentCast — property data lookup; we send the property address you submit.
  • Vercel — application hosting.

4. Data retention

We retain your account and analyses while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your analyses and personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to keep records (for example, billing records for tax purposes).

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. Email hello@briksai.com and we will respond within 30 days.

6. Cookies

We use first-party cookies for:

  • Authentication and session security.
  • Product analytics (PostHog), set to anonymize IP addresses and not capture passwords or form fields containing personal data.

Where required by law, we ask for consent before setting non-essential cookies via the cookie banner.

7. Security

Data in transit is protected with TLS. Data at rest is encrypted by our infrastructure providers. Access to production systems is limited to a small number of REIA personnel and protected with multi-factor authentication.

8. Children

REIA is not directed at people under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
